What is Break The Matrix?
We are passionate about freedom. We believe the message of freedom transcends political party, right vs. left, religion, race, and gender. We believe in America, and that Americans are desperate to hear a true message of hope, optimism, and prosperity rather than the fear, negativity, and sensationalism that has taken over the mainstream media.

What are we doing about it?
We created this website to gather freedom minded people on the internet and create a community. We have a chat room where you are heard as an individual. Most of the shows on BTM are interactive with the chat room.

Where are we going with this?
While our community continues to grow, we are developing content for our own BTM television and radio networks. Not just internet television and radio, actual cable and satellite television delivered to the TV sets of millions of people.

What kind of content are we developing?
Original programming - We have several shows ranging from an animated series, morning and evening news, a series exposing violations of the public trust, to debate shows with a twist. Our original programming is entertaining and hard-hitting, with a message of hope, prosperity, and freedom.

What makes our community unique?
We are a diverse group representing a wide array of beliefs and viewpoints, yet we all recognize that it is imperative to look beyond our differences and unite for the cause of freedom.

Constitution of the United States:Let every American, every lover of liberty, every well wisher to his posterity swear by the blood of the Revolution never to violate in the least particular the laws of the country, and never to tolerate their violation by others. As the patriots of 1776 did to support of the Declaration of Independence, so to the support of the Constitution and laws let every American pledge his life, his property, and his sacred honor. Let every man remember that to violate the law is to trample on the blood of his father, and to tear the charter of his childrens liberty.Let it be taught in schools, in seminaries, and in colleges, let it be written in primers, in spelling books and in almanacs, let it be preached from the pulpit, proclaimed in legislative halls, and enforced in courts of justice. And, in short, let it become the political religion of the nation, and, in particular, a reverence for the Constitution.

Cassini At Saturn At Dawn

June 20th, 2009

The images in this video come from the Cassini Imaging Science experiment, the Cassini VIMS experiment, and the Cassini Radar experiment. An incredibly vast and beautiful archive of Saturn imagery as well as imagery of other objects is available at CICLOPS.org. The crew at CICLOPS.org, headed by the venerable Carolyn Porco, are on the cutting edge of public outreach in the field of space science and astronomy.

The song is ‘At Dawn’ by My Morning Jacket performed in the middle of a thunderstorm in Manchester, TN. at the Bonnaroo Music Festival in June 2004.

You can see Saturn and its moons in phenomenal detail thanks to the incredible folks behind the Cassini Homepage: saturn.jpl.nasa.gov

Here is an introduction to the Cassini Mission:

On June 30, 2004, the Cassini spacecraft entered orbit around Saturn to begin the first in-depth, up-close study of the ringed planet and its domain. As expected, the Saturn System has provided an incredible wealth of opportunities for exploration and discovery. With its initial four-year tour of the Saturn system complete, the spacecraft is conducting an extended mission called the Cassini Equinox Mission.

“We’re looking at a string of remarkable discoveries — about Saturn’s magnificent rings, its amazing moons, its dynamic magnetosphere and about Titan’s surface and atmosphere,” says Dr. Linda Spilker, deputy project scientist. “Some of the mission highlights so far include discovering that Titan has Earth-like processes and that the small moon Enceladus has a hot-spot at its southern pole, jets on the surface that spew out ice crystals and evidence of liquid water beneath its surface.”

Cassini’s observations of Saturn’s largest moon, Titan, have given scientists a glimpse of what Earth might have been like before life evolved. They now believe Titan possesses many parallels to Earth, including lakes, rivers, channels, dunes, rain, snow, clouds, mountains and possibly volcanoes.

The spray of icy particles from the surface jets collectively forms a towering plume three times taller than the width of Enceladus. It is now thought that the plume feeds particles into Saturn’s most expansive ring, the E ring. Already in the extended mission, the spacecraft has come as close as 25 kilometers (15 miles) from the moon’s surface.

The extraordinary results from the Cassini spacecraft and the European Space Agency’s Huygens probe, which plunged through Titan’s dense, smoggy atmosphere to its surface, have generated hundreds of scientific articles and been the subject of special issues of the worlds most important scientific journals.

The first four years of the Cassini-Huygens saga brought a new dimension of understanding of the complex and diverse Saturn system. The two year Cassini Equinox Mission is expected to be just as exciting. During the extended mission the spacecraft will make 60 additional orbits of Saturn, including 26 flybys of Titan, seven of Enceladus, and one each of Dione, Rhea and Helene. Investigations of Saturn’s rings, the planet itself and new places within Saturn’s magnetosphere await.

Why the “Cassini Equinox Mission?”

Just as on Earth, equinox is a time of change in the Saturn system. An alien spacecraft dispatched to Earth could gain much greater insight into our planets workings by observing seasonal changes in the atmosphere, oceans and land, and the situation is similar at Saturn. With a healthy spacecraft and a powerful suite of instruments, Cassini scientists will monitor the changing seasons on Titan and Saturn and observe unique ring events, like shadows cast by rippling waves in the rings, during the 2009 equinox passage of the sun through the plane of the rings.

Science Objectives

The Cassini Equinox Mission is guided by a basic set of science goals that address major scientific questions about the planet, its magnetosphere and rings, Titan and the other icy moons. These objectives are listed in each of the following sections devoted to those topics. Some of the objectives relate to monitoring for seasonal changes in the Saturn System; others are related to new questions spawned by Cassinis investigations during its first four years at Saturn.

A separate team of scientists plans the observation and measurements for each of the spacecraft’s 12 instruments and then analyzes the returned data. Each team is headed by a team leader or a principal investigator. Hundreds scientists from the US, Europe, and across the globe participate in this international mission of exploration and discovery. See Cassini Orbiter Instruments for more.

7 Days FRANCE

June 18th, 2009

7DY-DVD-118 - France is a country with a long and dramatic history. A country of unique flair and picturesque old towns, fortresses and castles and also a country of beautiful landscapes. Today Paris is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. First established by the Celts, next used strategically by the Romans and then the domain of the Sun King. Paris is not a city but a feeling of joie de vivre!Les Champs Elysees is the French metropolis’ magnificent avenue and surely one of the most beautiful in the world, with wide boulevards, shady corners and large volumes of traffic. For more than a century the members of the French court languished in Versailles where incredible pageantry and opulence dominated and the king celebrated in majestic style. A hundred hectares of ingenious garden design with a strict symmetry of wide star-shaped garden paths that seem to be without end. With its historic buildings, the eighty metre high granite mound of Le Mont-Saint-Michel is like something from a fairy tale. Due to its unique location and architectural splendourthis picturesque village is often referred to as the Wonder Of The Occident. The Emerald Coast is a world of foaming white surf and dramatic cliffs. Saint Malo is the proud and solemn “Town Of Corsairs” as the yacht harbour of today once contained pirate ships. The historic centre of Nice, Vielle Ville, has maintained its charm and boasts the most well displayed fish market on the whole Cote D`Azur and a fruit and flower market that each day offers fresh produce and satisfies all the requirements of its most demanding customers. This is a journey to many corners of France - a fascinating journey not to be missed!

Manuel Göttsching E2-E4 with Joshua Light Show at Lincoln Center

June 16th, 2009

www.manuel-goettsching.com

MANUEL GÖTTSCHING :
Born in 1952 of an educated middle-class family, Manuel Göttsching grew up in the strange cultural milieu of post-WWII industrial West Germany. Training at an early age in classical guitar, whose formalist rigidity he would soon abandon, he soon developed an intense fondness of the broadly appealing and unprecedented sounds of 1960’s counter-culture music, rock mostly. At the age of 15, Göttsching joined with classmates Harmut Enke & Klaus Schulze in conceiving the musical collective Ash Ra Tempel. While it appears their original intention was to produce in a similar vein as much of the contemporary psychedelic rock popular among youth at the time, their aesthetic composure, methodological precision & theoretical foresight (and at such an early age) gave birth to an entirely new edifying enterprise whose roots spread across the German and international cultural landscape, a sound and aesthetic we now know as “Krautrock.” What made Ash Ra Tempel so remarkably unique at the time was it’s purifying effect: the ability to appropriate elements of rock, avant-garde, classical and jazz and sonically channel their most entrancing elements into the common stream of individual, collective and social release: a sort of musical ablution that testified to the dialectical sublimation of vastly eclectic traditions only conceivable in the vacant, uninhabited cultural space of a nation still hesitant to even utter the words “national identity.” The personality of Göttsching, his quiet, reserved and complexly theorized approach contributed to the formulation of early landmark releases “Ash Ra Tempel” (after which Klaus Schulz left the band), “Schwingungen,” and the psychedelic staple “Seven Up,” featuring, among other guests, the stream-of-conscious ramblings of psychedelic godfather and pioneer, Timothy Leary.

Acting as the central anchor for a number of different collaborations throughout the mid-late 1970’s and 1980’s, including the establishing of his own loosely centralized group, Ashra, Göttsching established a musical form that embodied the sporadic and unmapped expanses of the subconscious territories of the mind, stretching out a specific chord structure or melody and elevating it into the domain of the indefinite, repeating and refining the notes until they no longer held isolated significance, that only in the performing, reworking and experimenting with these melodies did the actual act, the performance and the lived experience that comes before the composition of music be embedded and embodied in its form. With quintessential releases such as ‘Shuttlecock’ & ‘e2-e4′, the latter of which became a cult classic among underground dance music circles in the United States and abroad, Göttsching built a legacy of music that had a mission as much as a sound, a theory as much as a practiced expression, a definitive, sophisticated aesthetic that framed and structured the free-form expressionism of his technique. That Göttsching remains a humble shadow in the backdrop of the indulgent panache of modern musical stardom and personality cult demonstrates that the man behind the Ashra has never been much interested in the fame and fortune that comes along musical popularity. To this day, Göttsching continues to perform his psychedelic form with equal enthusiasm as the early days of his career, eager to disseminate his music to as many willing listeners as he can reach, confident that his sound wields the same unique power to the willing listener as it did close to 40 years ago.
